People are persuaded by emotion, not by logic. A person needs to put emotion and feeling into a speech for it to work.
A person also need to speak slowly so the emotion can come out. It is like playing a song, which of course will not work if play too quickly. The emotion and feelings are what matters and if a person rushes when they speak, the emotion in it will not happen. Then the beauty, power and interest will be lost.
